Job description

The Operations Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Operations.

The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the daily support of various operational processes. This includes reviewing Client Agreements, Best Interest Disclosure Forms, opening new accounts for Stratos Investment Management and advisors onboardings to Stratos, and other related processes that support Stratos and Stratos Investment Management. The team will also be responsible for outgoing mailings when appropriate and adhering to stated service level and regulatory timelines to ensure the firm maintains compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

The Operations Coordinator will gain valuable experience across multiple aspects of the business. They will be primarily responsible for the following:

  • Ensure Stratos Client Agreements and Best Interest Disclosures are reviewed timely and any not in good order items are followed up on as required.

  • Work with multiple custodians to facilitate client requests including account opening, transfers, money movements, etc.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on all operational processes.

  • Facilitate problem solving and escalations with platform custodians.

  • Maintaining accuracy when processing client requests to ensure appropriate record keeping.

  • Ensuring adherence to all applicable policies and procedures, including any regulatory requirements.

  • Familiar with all incoming correspondence and check policies and procedures.

  • Provides coverage for the front desk as necessary.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, finance, or a related field preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Thrives in team environment.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work efficiently.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

  • Excellent communication and people skills.

  • Positive, can-do attitude with willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
