Job description

Hey there! We're on the lookout for a friendly and energetic HR Coordinator to join our team at Stratos Wealth Partners, where we have recently been named one of the top workplaces in Cleveland. This is a full-time, entry-level role, perfect for someone with a degree in Human Resources and either some relevant work experience or an HR internship(s) under their belt. As our HR Coordinator, you'll be a key player in keeping our HR department running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Helping out with job postings, screening resumes, performing initial phone screenings, setting up interviews, and welcoming new hires.
  • Employee Records: Keeping employee files up to date with all their personal info, benefits, and job history.
  • HR Administration: Handling the day-to-day HR tasks like payroll, preparing documents and answering employee questions.
  • Benefits Administration: Assisting with our employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
  • Compliance: Making sure we're following labor laws and company policies and keeping sensitive info confidential.
  • Training and Development: Setting up training sessions and professional development programs for our team.
  • Employee Relations: Helping the HR team address employee concerns and maintain our positive work environment.

Job requirements

Who We're Looking For

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in human resources.
  • Experience: Some relevant HR experience or an HR internship.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable with Microsoft Office and HR software/databases.
  • People Skills: Able to work well in a team and interact professionally with everyone.
  • Adaptability: Ready to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
