We are seeking a qualified Client Service Associate to join our growing, independently affiliated firm in Sewickley, PA. This is a fantastic opportunity to continue to build your career within a structured program with access to outstanding market and growth opportunities.


The salary range for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 dependent upon qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive compensation package with 401k and opportunities for incentives and career growth within our organization.


THE ROLE: The Client Service Associate will help us deliver excellent support and service to clients. You will support the firm in delivering outstanding client service through in-person, phone, and electronic communications with clients as well as financial institutions. The role requires someone who is internally motivated and self-directed but can collaborate and work as part of a team.  The ideal candidate must be thorough and detail-oriented, have fantastic communication skills, and truly enjoy talking to clients and forming relationships. Additionally, you must have a strong desire to learn, grow, ask questions, and have a passion for personal development. Initially, you will not need a securities license, but should you wish to grow in this firm, you may pursue certifications for advancement. This is not a sales role. This position allows the Associate to gain valuable experience in wealth management, develop communication and analytical skills, and progress toward more client interaction and responsibilities.


Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare new account and service paperwork efficiently and effectively to completion

  • Provide customer service both in person and over the phone to facilitate and resolve client service requests

  • Fulfill routine client service requests, resolve inquiries, and escalate cases when appropriate

  • Process client requests in a timely and efficient manner

  • Coordinate with LPL Financial and other custodians and strategic partners on client account maintenance and reporting

  • Contribute to the development and execution of client service standards resulting in client retention and satisfaction

  • Perform office operations including answering phones, greeting clients and screening calls

Key Competencies

  • College Degree or Equivalent Experience Preferred

  • 2 + Years of experience in a client service environment, preferably in the financial services industry

  • Highly detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to take complete and accurate notes and maintain confidentiality

  • Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Web Browsers preferred

  • Solid communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
