Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Associate Financial Advisor to join our dynamic team. This role is critical for identifying new prospects, nurturing client relationships, and building a robust sales pipeline. You will work alongside Lead Advisors, contributing to business development efforts and delivering high-quality financial and investment planning services. A strong understanding of CRM software and financial planning tools is essential for optimizing client interactions and streamlining business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Prospect Development & Lead Generation: Focus on successfully converting supplied qualified leads into clients by engaging with them, understanding their needs, and providing tailored financial solutions. Prioritize developing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline by identifying new business opportunities, building referral networks, and fostering strong, long-term client relationships.
Client Relationship Management: Utilize CRM software to track interactions, manage client data, and enhance engagement efforts. Maintain regular communication with existing and potential clients to explore investment and planning opportunities.
Financial Planning Support: Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive financial plans using MoneyGuidePro. Work closely with Lead Advisors to analyze client needs and deliver customized solutions.
Collaboration with Lead Advisors: Partner with Lead Advisors to identify opportunities for growth within the existing client base and provide seamless client service.
Client Meeting Preparation & Follow-Up: Prepare financial presentations, generate reports, and ensure timely follow-up on client interactions to enhance meeting effectiveness.
Industry Knowledge & Professional Growth: Stay up to date on industry trends, capital markets, and regulatory changes. Maintain required licenses and designations while actively pursuing professional development opportunities.
Job requirements
Key Competencies & Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum two years of relevant experience in financial planning, investment management, or client relationship management within an RIA, wirehouse, or insurance broker-dealer. Recent graduates with a degree in financial planning and internship experience will also be considered.
Education: A bachelor’s degree is required (Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred).
Licensing: FINRA Series 65 license or willingness to obtain within the first six months of hire.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM platforms sich as RedTail and financial planning software is highly preferred.
Client-Centric Mindset: Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
Communication & Presentation Skills: Ability to convey complex financial concepts in a clear and engaging manner to clients and prospects.
Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a proactive approach to challenges and opportunities.
